I checked your site, and from what I see, your posts are safe and sound (Posts → All Posts).
However, your homepage should show your latest posts per settings.
Given that you’re using a very outdated theme (it’s retired since 9 April 2013, almost 11 years ago!), I suggest changing your site theme to a newer one to ensure compatibility with the latest WordPress core we use on WordPress.com.

Retired Themes If your theme has been retired, you will find this notice on the theme’s info page: When a theme is retired, it no longer appears in the list of themes at Appearance → Themes. Of course, you can create a new free site and test the themes there before changing it on your live site.

Dear Dr. Schmidt,
I am having the exact same issue on my blog, which also uses the “retired” K2-lite theme. If you try a new theme and find that it fixes the problem, please let me know. Thanks. I will try to monitor this thread as well. odon1963 at yahoo dot com
