Posts have stopped updating to Facebook since password change

    I recently had to change my Facebook password. I disconnected from Facebook and reconnected my site but my new posts are not updating to my Facebook page. I’ve tried disconnecting and reconnecting several times with no luck. How can I restore it so my new posts appear on my Facebook page?

    This is Pranali. I will help you to figure out your issue and what can be the possible solutions.

    Facebook can be connected to your site via multiple functionalities. The following link can help you spot those and reconnect them.

    Additionally, please make sure you have connected your Facebook Page and not Profile. 

    Note: Starting August 1, 2018, Facebook is making a change to their platform: third-party tools can no longer automatically share posts to Facebook Profiles. This includes Publicize. If you’ve connected a Facebook Profile to your site, then Publicize will no longer be able to share your new posts to Facebook automatically, and you won’t be able to make a new connection to a Facebook Profile. Sharing to Facebook Pages will continue to work as before.
