    I just added the “Posts I like” widget and it is not displaying properly. It is set to display 5 posts and I have liked my 5 favorites, but it is only showing one.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    HI there,

    Can you show me the 4 other posts that you have liked?

    Just to be clear, you want to like your own posts and have them show up under the Posts I Like widget?

    Thank you!

    Yes – I want to “like” my own posts to have a list of my favorites. The others I liked that are not showing up are:
    Just Being
    You’re So Brave
    Interesting Phenomenon
    Messages From God

    Thank you for your help.

    Hi there,

    So, I would actually advise against using this widget to display your favorite posts because essentially this widget is set up to choose up to a certain number of posts from all the posts you have liked. This is meant to constantly change. This means that posts will have to meet a certain criteria to appear in that widget. One criteria is having images within the post, and another is that the post is pretty recent. This widget chooses from your most recent likes. Therefore, if you wanted to keep this a “My Favorite Posts” widget, then you wouldn’t be able to like any other posts on WordPress.com.

    So, what I actually recommend is using a Text Widget and adding these 5 posts using HTML (I can help you with this). So, please go to Dashboard > Widgets and add the text widget instead of the Posts I Like widget. Title it the same: MY Favorite Posts.

    Then, copy/paste this into the Widget:

    <a href="http://isaiah3021.wordpress.com/2014/01/01/a-fresh-start/">A Fresh Start</a>
    <br>
    <a href="http://isaiah3021.wordpress.com/2014/03/06/just-being/">Just Being</a>
    <br>
    <a href="http://isaiah3021.wordpress.com/2014/03/17/youre-so-brave/">You're So Brave</a>
    <br>
    <a href="http://isaiah3021.wordpress.com/2013/12/18/interesting-phenomenon/">Interesting Phenomenon</a>
    <br>
    <a href="http://isaiah3021.wordpress.com/2013/12/01/messages-from-god/">Messages From God</a>

    This will write out and link to your 5 favorite posts. Then this will free you up to like any posts you want on WordPress.com without them showing up in that widget.

    Cheers!
