Posts in 2 languages?

Is it possible to have posts in two languages in the same blog – ie. will they be tagged properly for search engines to parse them. I would like to have posts in Slovenian and English.
Are there any best practices for that?WP.com: Yes
Jetpack: No
Correct account: YesThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey there,
Happy to help you with this, and it’s totally possible!
This guide here: https://wordpress.com/support/tutorials/simple-multilingual-site-tutorial-using-blocks-no-plugins/ explains how to build a multi-lingual site without the use of plugins.
I hope this helps!

Hi, thanks for the reply. I have checked the guide you suggested, but it doesn’t seem to work for me. As much as I understand it, it works for static pages, whereas my site (https://matjazcrnivec.net/) has mainly blog posts, mostly in Slovenian, but some of them are in English. I am using a special category for these at the moment (https://matjazcrnivec.net/category/english/).
Any suggestions, hints, what would be the best thing to do in such case?

Using categoreis is the best solution. You find all info at https://wordpress.com/support/set-up-a-multilingual-blog/#option-2-one-site-two-posts

Hey there,
As shared by @staartmees our help guide for setting up a multilingual blog has a few great options for creating a multilingual blog:
Do you want to create a multilingual website? Here are a few different ways you can set up your site if you have content in multiple languages. 💡 Looking for a more robust set of features for creating a multilingual site? Plugin-enabled plans can install plugins to enable their site to do almost anything—including adding multilingual capabilities. If you’re looking to changI would also agree that using two categories and linking to the translated posts would be my recommended solution. There are also some translation plugins, but this would be set up to translate the entire site.
Hope this helps!
