posts in chronological order
-
Look,
I have been trying to look for answers to this absolutely everywhere.
How do I put my wordpress.com posts in chronological order?
I have seen apparent answers to this, but I am a total amateur when it comes to computer talk and I don’t understand things like – “index.php” – and so on.
How do I do this?
If “index.php” or whatever os the only way to do it then will someone please talk me through it step by step so I can understand it…

Hi,
There is no one-click way to do this (yet), but here’s what you can do:
1. Create a new page with no title.
2. Paste this line in the page content:
[display-posts include_content="true" image_size="thumbnail" wrapper="div" order="ASC"]3. Save and publish the page.
4. Go to https://jonosmindpalace.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-reading.php, and select “Front page display a static page”, and choose the page you just created from the list for “Front page”. Since you didn’t give your page a name, it will start with a # and a number.
Save.
5. Go to your site, and you should see the posts in chronological order.
It isn’t exactly the best solution, but it works in a pinch if you must have the chronological order.
