Posts in Chronological order

would like a menu choice that would display my posts, if someone wants, in the original order i posted them…can I do that?

wow….thanks for your reply but adding code is way above my pay grade….
i thought maybe there would be a plug-in or i could add a link to my menu that would enable someone to temporarily view my posts in original order…I wouldn’t want to keep it that way…
maybe i ask too much

If there is a set of posts that you would like a first time viewer to see you could create a page and link all of those posts to that page. They’d all be in one place. You can link the individual posts or link the tag to the page.
Here’s an example:
Page Title “Welcome”
Thanks for visiting my blog. Take a look at my awesome posts.

-post 2 Title
-post 3 TitleRight click on the post title and select ‘copy link address’. Navigate back to your page title ‘Welcome’ and highlight ‘post 1 Title’ while highlighted hit comand+v to paste the URL there. Repeat for all posts you wish to link to this page.
If you want to link a group or a type of post, say ‘Creative Writings’, you can do so by linking the Tag on the post to your ‘Welcome’ page. From the Edit Post Screen check and make sure that each post has the Tag you are going to use to link them to your ‘Welcome’ page.
Preview a post with the ‘Creative Writings’ Tag, scroll down until you see the Tags for the post listed, right click on ‘Creative Writings’ Tag and select ‘copy link address’. Head back over to your ‘Welcome’ page and paste the Tag URL. Then all posts with ‘Creative Writings’ tag will be linked there.
