Posts in menu

I have one page for my blog (http://www.joyfulsurroundingsllc.com) which is a static front page.
How do I add a link to the blog post page in a menu, so people can go to the blog?
I want visitors to the site to go to the static page initially but then be able to go to the blog post page.
thank you!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Stay is not a run of the mill theme. Here’s a link to the theme description page http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/Stay/ that describes how the theme is designed and what it’s intended use is. As it’s a complex theme I’m not even going to attempt to provide support for it. I’ll leave that to justpi and/or themes staff.

Your question is very basic, and has nothing to do with Stay in particular. You publish a new page in Pages > Add New (titling it Blog or Posts or whatever you like, and adding no content), then you go to Settings > Reading and select this page as your posts page.

I have done this, but ideally I’d love to have a real blog page, like a post, where the posts get dated automatically. I’d like to be able to have this be on a menu, not the landing page. Perhaps this isn’t possible?
P.S. Does it matter that my question is “basic”? Kind of feels like a bit of a zinger :-(.

No, you haven’t done “this”: you have simply published a static page titled “Blog”, with content in it. Read my reply more carefully please: what I suggested does exactly what you’re looking for.
The same thing is explained in the doc timethief linked to:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/(And that’s why I mentioned “basic”: I meant it’s basic for an experienced volunteer like timethief; I pointed it out because timethief hesitated, fearing this might be some arcane Stay thing, although actually she understood your question and gave the right reply at the end.)

Thanks, now I’ve done what you said. Now I have another question: If I want to add a new post, do I go this same blog post and edit it?
