Posts in separate Pages?

I do want all my posts to appear in separate pages instead of seeing them all in one HOME page. To read the third post I have to go all the way scroll down. Is there any easy method?

No, this is how blogs are designed. If you put the Recent Posts widget in the sidebar, people can click on the title of the post and go directly to that post without scrolling down. The idea is that people will check back often enough that they don’t need to scroll anywhere.

You COULD use all static pages if you wanted, but you’d still have to put in the Pages widget so people could see them, and it would absolutely slaughter your search engine ranking.

Thanks! I have added the widget in the sidebar. Satisfied with the result. Though I did not understand what you mean by search engine ranking would be ‘slaughtered’!

Search engines rank you higher or lower depending partly on how often you update the very front page of your site. Blogs that list the latest post first are constantly showing as updated, whereas websites with static pages off somewhere else get ranked lower, because the front page isn’t changing.

I wondering how i make it so that on the bottom of my posts page it will say “previous” as in I’d like to have just 5 posts per page or something like that. Is there a way to set that?

Is this your blog? If it is then there should be an automatic previous link at the bottom of your blog page. If it’s not there, is it a new blog at all? The previous link will only appear once you have written more posts than will fit on the front page, so if it’s set to display 15 posts and you’ve written 9, the previous link won’t display. If you reduce that by going to Dashboard > Options > Reading, then the link should appear. Hope that helps.
