why don’t my posts show after hitting publish??
I have tried to upload some posts this morning but after hitting preview and then publish and getting the published notification, the posts don’t appear! I have tried several times. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Oh no! That sounds like very bad news.
If the post was created on the dashboard of your own blog at Dashboard > Posts > All Posts > Add New then you ought to be able to recover a lost post or page from revisions if needs be.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-revisions/
See also if applicable > restoring from trash http://en.support.wordpress.com/trash/#restoring-from-trash(If you are referring to a Page then see here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/page-revisions/)
I recommend:
Always create your posts on the dashboard of your own blog at
Dashboard > Posts > All Posts > Add NewAlways allow pages to fully load before clicking any other links.
Never leave a post open for editing and walk away from it. Save the post.
Use an offline blog editor so you have backups on your own computer http://en.support.wordpress.com/xml-rpc/

Thanks heaps for your time but I think I may have asked the wrong question. My issues is when I publish posts, it says published and I can save and preview but when I go to my blog, the posts aren’t there! I even get the notification after publishing that says ‘you’ve published your (number of the) post’ but I can’t seem to find it on the blog. On mobile site, the post did show once right after uploading and publishing but went missing again. Never happened before. Would be grateful for any help! Thanks

What are titles of the missing posts please? As you cannot find these posts in your revisions I’ll tag this thread for a Staff follow-up. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

Hi I’m sorry if I keep giving you the wrong impression of the real issue. I can find my saved drafts. They are all there. The problem is when I try to edit those and re-publish, it doesn’t work! The procedure works as in everything goes accordingly but when I click on ‘my blog’ to see the post being published, it isn’t really published!!! :(

Okay. Hover over the title of the post. Click “Edit”. Go to the Publish module on the top right hand corner and change the post visibility setting Public. Then click “Publish”or “update” as the case may be.

P.S.You need to also be sure in the same Publish module that the datestamp and timestamp on the post are in the here and now and not set to schedule the post for later publication.

Hooray! You succeeded because I see two new published posts. :)
BTW I’m the same blogger I’m just logged in under my other username.
