Posts just refuse to be sticky
-
I am using INove theme for my blog http://techkhabaren.wordpress.com/. Everything was ga ga till yesterday morning. After that suddenly I can’t just make my posts sticky.
I have tried repeatedly, its just not happening. The post displaying is the first posted on the blog.
Please help.

I’m seeing ALL of your posts set as sticky posts. You do not have to do that to get them to appear on the main page of your site. The sticky post feature is to highlight one or two posts at the top of your site.
If you unstick all your posts, they will all show on your site main page in reverse chronological order (newest at top).
To unstick multiple posts at one time, you can use the post bulk edit feature.

All the posts updated in the fresh posts side, I updated with “make this post sticky” options.

50 of the total posts are still sticky. One of these is Anonymous on streets today -
I have no idea what you mean above.
UNSTICK all your posts as I suggested using the bulk edit feature. Sticking all posts will kill your site. That is what has happened.

I “unstick” all the 50 posts, which were showing as “sticky”. It is now working properly.
Thank you. -
You are welcome.
If you want to highlight some older posts from time to time, you can use the sticky feature to do that, just don’t do too many or things will break.

I don’t understand – my posts were all ‘sticky’ and now they are not. They are showing from oldest upfront. How can I fix this?

As “thesacredpath” said – UNSTICK all your posts using the bulk edit feature. It will work.

@aawwa: What do you mean your posts were sticky and now they aren’t? All the posts with an orange title and no date (50 in all) are stickies. As already mentioned, you need to unsticky them.
