Posts keep going to MY Facebook page – not the blog's page on Facebook

I have re-done the sharing part where I pick which page it should post to over and over and over in the past couple of weeks. It either doesn’t post to Facebook at all OR it posts to my personal page instead of the blog’s page. Is anyone else having the same problem? Did anyone come up with a way to fix it yet?

Hi,
I’m sorry for the trouble! If you go to Settings -> Sharing in that blog dashboard, under Facebook, click Set Options and you’ll be able to choose Publicizing to your Facebook page.

I don’t know if the problem is on the WordPress side or Facebook side but I too have the same issue. Works for a while, then doesn’t… reset etc… same. Worked today FWIW.

chartingbythestars: Can you give us a few more details about what isn’t working?
- What browser and version are you using?
- In Settings -> Sharing, after clicking Set Options under Facebook, what happens/appears on your screen after you select the Facebook Page and click Save these settings? (Please copy any error messages and include them in your reply to this thread.)
Can you try an alternate browser, such as Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome?

First of all, thank you for your time.
I am using the current version of Chrome and am an “expert” user.
The methodology that usually works to save “share” settings is just plainly not functioning. I enter “publicize” and check LinkedIn, and it accepts the change, but when I “update” it has not changed.
When I try to set my FB page, it wont even take my “connect” although the banner states that “you have successfully connected….”
I deleted all my cookies, did all the scans I could think of on my end, so I gotta say….WTF?

There are a ton of issues around RSS and Publicize right now. I suggest you use Networked Blogs or RSS GRaffitti to work around this until things are fixed.

I second the RSS Graffiti suggestion. It’s the only way I’ve ever gotten my posts to show up on my Facebook “fan page” or whatever they call it, rather than on my personal FB page.

stephenaulrich, just so we can rule-out a browser-specific issue, would you please try Firefox?

marcmanx – yeah, tried that. The only difference is that FireFox just locks up. At least i get a server error message from Chrome.
