Posts marked and arranged by the wrong date
-
In the past two weeks, my posts are marked with the wrong date, so they’re showing up in the wrong order! I can’t seem to fix them after I publish them, and I can’t seem to find the source of the problem to prevent this from occurring–help! The date and time is accurate on my computer…Thanks in advance for any words of wisdom!!!

Hi bonnevivantelife,
Your posts appear to be in chronological order to me. Which posts are out of order?
You can check your timezone settings are correct from the Dashboard. Go to Settings -> General.
For more information see general settings.

Hi-
Thanks so much for looking into this–I was able to go back and change the dates to correspond with the actual dates I posted this time. But for example, if I posted something on a Thursday, January 15, it will publish as posted on Monday, January 12. I had ignored the problem since it was still posting chronologically, albeit a couple days off from the real day I published each one. Until today I noticed the days were so off that the posts weren’t in the right order, though the time/day stamp appeared in order..does that make sense?
I checked the timezone too, and that seems correct. It’s going back days, not hours!! -
Hi,
When you publish your posts, is “Publish immediately” selected in the Publish box to the write of your editor? See Schedule a Post for a screen shot of what I mean.
You could try checking this Published date on the posts you’ve already published. From the Dashboard, go to Posts, select one and open it in the editor. Check the date in the field to the right of the editor and next to “Published on:”.
