Posts not appearing in Hemingway theme

  Hi,
  I can’t make the posts appear in the Hemingway theme.
  I selected one of the pages – News- to be the posts page and also in the same time – the home/front page. Thus, the latest posts would always be on the front page.
  Plus, this configuaration also ‘makes’ the infinite scrool happen.
  But in this configuration, the posts are not appearing.

  If I choose ‘latest posts’ as front page, the posts appear and are on the home page, but I loose the infinite scrool.

  I would be very happy if the News page as posts and the home page in the same time would be possible. Could you please advise on this ?

  I am a little confused by this. Would you like your Posts to appear on your News page AND move News to the first place in your menu? If so, you can use the instructions in the link below to change the order of your menu items:

  Menus

  The Infinite Scroll option has been disabled since you have footer widgets in Appearance → Widgets. If your page were to scroll infinitely, your readers wouldn’t be able to see your footer.

  Hi Thatrobyn,

  As to infinite scroll and widgets, I see what you mean, but I it doesn’t seem to work. I just move my footer widgets to right sidebar, there’s still no infinite scrool.

  What I wanted to achieve is:
  – News page as posts page + News page as the landing/front/home page + infinite scroll.

  If in Appearance-Customize, I choose News page both as ‘front page’ + ‘posts page’, the News page (=the front/landing page) stays stubbornly empty, without the posts that should be there. But the infinite scroll works.
  If I choose ‘Latest posts’ as front page + ‘News’ as Posts page, the posts are there, but not the infinite scrool.

  I see that you were able to get the posts on your news page and set this page as your landing page. Is this what you wanted?

  Infinite scroll will kick in when there are more than 7 posts published.
