Posts not appearing in reader

  Hi there,

  Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com.

  Name Server: NS39.DOMAINCONTROL.COM
  Name Server: NS40.DOMAINCONTROL.COM

  Only posts published on WordPress.com sites will automatically appear in the Reader. If your followers wish to read your posts on the Reader, they have to add your site to the Reader to see your blog post updates.

  Hi,

  But I’m using the Jetpack plugin and have migrated my followers too. So, it should appear in the reader. I have contacted the Jetpack support team but no response from their end. Do you have any other suggestions or maybe some other plugin that could do the trick?

  Hi again,

  In fact, I have a self-hosted WordPress site with Jetpack plugin installed too. If I followed my own site in the Reader, I’m able to see the new posts that I published. Searching for my posts in the Reader will not render any result. I think that’s how it works for self-hosted WordPress sites.

  Anyway, I’m adding a modlook tag for staff comment on this so let’s wait for their reply. :)

  Hi –

  Please share more details about how you are trying to find the missing posts. By tag searches? Post titles? Site address? as examples.

  Share the links them here so I can try and find them and look a little deeper at what is going on. Thanks.

  Hi,
  I follow my own blog. So I was expecting the posts to show up in the reader just like posts of the other bloggers I follow. It has also come to my knowledge that the jetpack plugin will not show the post immediately in the reader. So, I waited. It has been a few days now, I can see posts from other blogs published during the last few days but not mine.

  I have also tried searching “divadrishti” (name of my blog) In the posts results, no post shows up. But in the site results my blog shows up and when I click on it, the page shows only one post of my blog which was posted in August.
