Posts not being shared on Facebook, Tumblr

I noticed there were changes to WordPress earlier this week. My last posts are not being shared on Facebook, Tumblr even though these are set up as “shared.” On July 1, my post was automatically posted on my facebook and tumblr sites. After the WordPress upgrade, they are not being “shared.” I even relinked account.

I’m sorry for the trouble you’re having with this. Just to confirm, have you been posting from the new post page at https://wordpress.com/post/ ?
Can you please try creating a new post and publishing it by going to Posts > Add New in your dashboard instead? Please let me know if the new post is then shared correctly to your social media sites.

Still no luck. I created a new post in the dashboard but it did not get published to Facebook or other shared sights.

Sorry about that — and thanks for letting me know. We’ve had some people report issues with Publicize not always working correctly when they have a Google+ connection set up.
Could you try removing the Google+ connection under Publicize in your sharing settings (under Settings > Sharing in your blog’s dashboard)? Let me know if that makes a difference for you. Our team is still investigating that issue, so if we can gather more details about that issue it would really help us resolve it.

I just removed my Google+ connection. I did noticed there was a small blue & white question mark icon under the words: “connected as”. I can email you a image if that would help. I want be able to post something until later today. Thanks for your help.

That question mark icon is normal — if you hover over it with your mouse, you’ll see a message about connecting to your Google+ profile.
When you publish your next post, can you check to see if it is shared correctly on the other sites? You’ll need to manually share the post to Google+ since that one isn’t connected right now, but that will help us see if the Google+ connection was the problem earlier.

Yes. My posts are now shared on Facebook, tumblr and linkedin now that I removed google+ connection. Thanks

Sorry for the delay getting back to you about this. Our team has done quite a bit of investigating, and we’re hoping we’ve fixed the issue with Google+ connections. Can you try connecting your blog to Google+ again to see if everything works now?

I added Google+ and posted but it did not get shared with Tumblr. For completely different reasons, I have temporarily disabled my facebook account.
I deactivated Google+ after the post was not successful.

Can you confirm that this was manually posted as opposed to automatically shared via Publicize?

The previous post did not update Tumblr , after I added Google+. So, I added the image to Tumblr manually.
I deactivated Google+ for the most recent post. I will keep Google+ deactivated.

Thanks for the additional information. Was this post created in the WordPress.com editor (wordpress.com/post) or through Posts -> Add New within your Dashboard?
