My recent posts won’t show up on the topics page, can anyone help please?

Your site has been designated as “mature” so it won’t show up in the topics pages. Nor is your link in these public forums visible to the general public. A blog that is marked as Mature is excluded from public areas of the WordPress.com service.

Here is information about blogs labeled as mature:

Hello and thank you for replying to me. I am still at a loss to why so many other obviously mature blogs are on the topic pages and reader. They have been there a long time and repeatedly show up on topics pages and they are far far ruder than mine. Rules are rules but this seems very unfair. Can you shed any light? Also where does it say that I have been flagged as mature and can it be reversed if I remove some of the content? Sorry to give you so many questions :/ kind regards Kandy

As a volunteer moderator I can see the link to your site on your original post. I can see this message: “Moderators only: this is a mature blog.” Other volunteers will not see any link to your site at all.

Also: No one can see your username linked to your site. (maybe it looks to you as if your username is linked to your site?)

If you did not self-report your site as “mature” then someone came across it and reported it as mature. Like so:
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/report-blogs/
    and the TOS team agreed.

    To make my question clear:
Staff— do bloggers who are marked as “mature” get any notification of their status?

I’ll modlook this topic so we will have a staff answer about whether or not a blog marked as mature does, should, or could get a notification about being designated as mature.

…can it be reversed if I remove some of the content?

If you want to dispute the label then try this:
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/suspended-blogs/
On the bottom of that link there is a contact form for you to reach the TOS team.

Please note that we volunteers have no authority to determine violations of TOS nor “mature” status, and note also that staff does not discuss private topics like this in public forums.

I would like to know if a blog is marked mature also means that the blogger gets a notification about it.

As for this question you offer as an explanation or excuse or example to justify your site as not deserving the “mature” designation:

I am still at a loss to why so many other obviously mature blogs are on the topic pages and reader. They have been there a long time and repeatedly show up on topics pages and they are far far ruder than mine. Rules are rules but this seems very unfair. Can you shed any light?

Are you asking why this seems unfair? Perhaps they are indeed “mature” sites and should be reported. You could do it yourself.
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/report-blogs/
I don’t spend my time looking for erotica, porn, or mature content. I’d say that if those sites are mature (as yours seems to be) then they have not attracted the attention of anyone who has reported them.

Also, please realize that while your site is “mature” it does not mean you are being censored on WordPress.com.

Blogs marked Mature and their owning users are permitted to utilize all other aspects of WordPress.com and we do not suspend blogs solely for the presence of mature content. There are no interstitials or other “age gates” on WordPress.com.

@kandysparks, if you think your site should not be listed as Mature, please contact us as 1tess suggested. We also urge you to report any sites you run across that you believe should also be rated Mature. Each report is reviewed individually by staff to see if the site should receive the Mature rating (and whether or not it fits within our Terms of Service). None of this is automatic at this time, so it’s highly likely that there are some out there that need to be reviewed. We rely on our readers to help us find them. :)

Also thanks @1tess for a thorough explanation of how the Mature rating works. :)
