Posts not in Reader

  My last five posts are not showing in the reader. I thought I had this fixed but followers have told me on Twitter that they cannot see the last five.
  I only use about 4-8 tags per post so it’s not that. I have been using the schedule and wondered if that’s causing a problem?
  I noticed it about a month ago. Any advice would be great, my stats are falling :(

  There aren’t any issues with the feed either!

  Hi, you can see the posts if you search for them but for my blog followers, they aren’t pulling into the reader feed automatically. It’s just the last five which were all posted using schedule.
  I can log in with my boyfriend’s account and they are not showing.

  Hi Sara,

  We investigated this further, and I see what you mean about followers not seeing your posts. I’m not sure exactly why this is happening, so I’ve asked our developers to take a closer look at your site. We’ll let you know as soon as we have more information about it!

  If there’s anything more I can do to help in the meantime, please let me know.

  Thank you, that’s very kind. I’m planning on posting again on Friday or Monday so I’ll see what happens with that one. Instead of scheduling, I’ll just publish.

  Hi Sara,

  I think we fixed the issue that was preventing your posts from showing up for your followers. Can you check and see if they are showing up now?

  Thank you! My mum has a wordpress account that I use on her behalf as she’s even less technical than me…when I go in to hers I can see all my posts again.
  Am I doing something wrong when I post or was it the schedule?

  I’m glad that fixed it! :)

  All that happened was an odd character got stuck into one of your posts. That caused some technical problems with your blog’s feed, which is what makes your posts show up in the Reader. We removed the character that was causing the problem and that fixed it.

  It isn’t something you really need to worry about, and it didn’t look related to scheduling your posts, so you should be all set now. :)
