posts not in reader for followers

Hi,
My last two posts have not appeared in the Reader for followers (I followed my own blog to check) but the posts do appear if I search for the tags.
There’s no difference between these posts and my previous ones which all show up fine. I’m not using excessive or irrelevant tags etc.
could someone possibly check if there’s an issue somewhere?

Further info – the two missing posts have now appeared but way back in the feed at the time they were originally posted. My post from today is not in the feed… Yet. It seems they are just showing up a day or two late for some reason.

It looks like there was indeed a delay adding your new posts to the Reader — sorry about that! I just fixed that up on our end so all of your posts are in the Reader now. If that problem comes back, please let me know!

Yes, as previously, you can find the posts if you search for the tags but they do not appear in followers’ feeds.

Hi Nicola,
I just checked the Reader and all of your posts are showing up for your followers now. It sounds like there may have been a delay with that post appearing in the Reader, but they are all there now. :)

Sorry to keep coming back but they do all seem to be delayed and many of my followers miss my posts by the time they show up. My latest post is not in followers’ feeds. It might show up by the time you get to look again but if you check for why this could be happening I’d be very grateful.

I see that your latest post is still missing from the Reader, so it looks like the fix I did before didn’t completely resolve the problem. I’m checking with our team now about that and will let you know when I have an update!

Our team fixed your blog to make sure all of your posts are in the Reader now, and we’re monitoring your blog to see if we can track down what’s causing that problem. I’ll let you know if I get another update about that. :)

We’re still investigating this, and our team asked for a little more information:
Can you tell me more about how you publish those posts? For example, where do you create the posts (in a mobile app, in the editor at https://wordpress.com/post, or somewhere else)? When you write your new posts, do you publish them right away? Or do you save them as a draft, and then publish them later or schedule them to be published at a specific time?
Any details like that about how you create and publish the posts may help us track down why they aren’t showing up right away in the Reader. Thanks!

Yes, I create my posts in the editor at https://wordpress.com/post/ (via chrome and windows 10 if that makes a difference).
I save drafts and preview as I write the post and then just publish immediately.
The posts do show up straight away if you search for the tags but it’s just that they don’t show up in the Reader feed for followers. Followers that subscribe by email receive the email straight away as normal.
Let me know if you need any more info or would like me to try anything. e.g. I could try posting via the mobile app to see what happens if that would help investigations?

Hi Rachel,
After being away for a week and so posting four times on my blog today to catch up it looks like the issue is that the latest post does not show in the Reader for followers. As soon as I publish a new post then the previous post appears and the new one is missing.
Hopefully that will help to track down the issue!
