Posts not publishing on the day I hit publish.

    Twice I have published posts and they did not publish on the day I published them. They published on days weeks or months before I hit publish.

    I don’t know if I am putting this in the right spot. This question has probably been asked before as I cannot see that I am the first to run into this.
    A bit back (in May) I published a post. At first I could not find it after publishing. Somehow, for some reason, It got published for January. I didn’t even publish my first post until February. It didn’t seem to be that big a deal as I reblogged it so my followers would know I published something new.
    It happened again today. I finished writing something today and it got published for April 10th.
    Is there a reason this keeps happening? Is there anything I can do to prevent it from happening again? Is this happening to anyone else?
    Also I posted 2 posts on one day once and they published in the wrong order.

    Are you logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog? That’s required.

    Please confirm that your timezone settings is correct.

    The default timezone is UTC time. You can reset your timezone here > Settings > General.

    There you select the closest city to you in the same timezone in the drop-down menu and then click “save changes”.

    If you are logged in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog this is what you see here

    Choose a city in the same timezone as you.

    Before you publish a post make sure the datestamp and timestamp are correct. If they are not then click the Edit link in the Publish module and you will be able to change the datestamp and timestamp. Then click “update”.

    I think I see what went wrong. Thanks for your help.
    I’m still new at this, but am slowly figuring it out.
