Posts not showing in chronological order

  I hope someone can help. My posts aren’t showing in reverse chronological order. I had to sticky my most recent post to the top and under that is a post from a couple of years ago, but under that is a post from last week. I don’t understand! I tried searching the forum for answers but the fixes they suggested don’t appear as options for me.
