Posts not showing in Reader under specific tags

After writing a new post and adding tags to it, I cannot see my posts in the Reader even when selecting the tags I chose for my post.

To verify blog ownership of a WordPress.com hosted blog with the major search engines you must use this process > http://en.support.wordpress.com/webmaster-tools/

It can take weeks for search engines to index content in a new blog and/or to re-index content under a new URL. What attracts search engines is unique content in posts (not pages) that cannot be found anywhere else on the internet. We are not on day # 4, and still my posts are not showing in the Reader via the appropriate tags. I have written 5 posts now.
