Posts not showing in the reader

  My posts are not showing up in the reader and I’m not sure what to do about it. Any ideas are welcome.

  Since your above site is not hosted here on WordPressdotcom, to the best of my knowledge it won’t automatically be included in the Reader.

  However, logged in WPcom users can follow any site in the Reader that publishes an RSS feed or has the jetpack subscription module installed.

  Hi there,

  Are you following your site in the Reader as @justjennifer mentioned? Is it there in the feed that your posts are not showing?

  Or is it in the tag search feature? If that’s where you’re looking for your site, it’s normal that you can’t find it. Tag search only shows WordPress.com sites, not Jetpack-connected sites.

  I understand now. I didn’t know that self-hosting/working with jet pack disabled the tag function for the WordPress reader. Thank you both for the explanation!

  Thanks for confirming that it’s the tag option.

  Note that people can still follow your site in the Reader, and you can still be featured on Discover, even with a Jetpack site.
