Posts not showing on main page (Theme 2014)

  I am using theme 2014 , I currently have only 6 posts and all are featured posts. Previously I was able to see only one post below the 6 featured posts on the main page. I want to show all my posts on the main page.

  This is how i want my front page to look like: below the 6 featured posts I want to show all posts in excerpts format or as per the theme of 2014 I want to show all posts as shown on this theme

  Any guidance for doing that please. Thanks in advance.

  If you place every post in the slider then none will appear below. When a featured post with a featured image is placed in the slider then it does not display on the same page ie. on the front page of the blog in the stream of posts. The slider is only for some posts. It’s not intended to be used for all posts. Read the detailed theme description at http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/twentyfourteen/

  Thanks timethief for your kind help but since I am not a very technical person, this is what I understand from your point: since I have made all these 6 posts as featured posts, this is the reason I am unable to see any posts on the front page?

  So in this case when I post my 7 post, it will automatically show on the front page and further for all posts 8th, 9th, 10th …… also should show on main page? Is this how it will work for this theme?

  Any post you make into a featured post and display in the grid or slider that allows for 6 featured posts will not also display below in the stream of posts.

  Featured Content and Featured Images
  The home page features your choice of up to six posts that are prominently displayed in a grid or a slider, and controlled by the “featured” post tag.
