Posts not showing on page

    Hello. I have a page set up to display all of my posts but they are not showing up. When I go in to edit the page it says “You are currently editing the page that shows your latest posts.” So, it knows what it’s supposed to be doing, but it’s not happening.

    When I go in to edit the page it says “You are currently editing the page that shows your latest posts.” So, it knows what it’s supposed to be doing, but it’s not happening.

    Go to Settings-> Reading
    and select the number of posts:

    Blog pages show at most lets you choose how many blog posts are displayed per page. The default setting is 10 posts per page.

    Setting a higher number of posts to display on each page can potentially impact load times on your blog, since you will be loading a lot more data with each page. The default setting is 10 posts per page to ensure fast load times.

    Thank you. That’s not doing what I was hoping it would do:
    I want my home page to show my latest post.
    I want my Yoga Talk page to feed summaries of my latest 6 posts.
    Settings won’t let that happen. When I choose a static page of my latest posts, I can’t adjust it to just show the last one and have my Yoga Talk page show summaries of the latest 6.

    That is for your syndication feeds:

    Yes. It is my latest post on Home. I made a separate page with the post and used it as my static home page. Then I displayed 3 posts on Yoga Talk.

    I’m not referring to RSS feeds above. I mean I want my posts to feed into my Yoga Talk page.

    I’m going to just keep it the way it is for now, manually creating a static page for the home page. It’s not the way I want to do it, but it’s working for now. Thanks.
