Posts not showing up in the Reader

    Hi there,

    I have been notified by some of my followers that my posts are no longer showing up for them in the Reader.

    I recently migrated my website / blog from WordPress.com to self-hosted WordPress, but I (re)connected it to WordPress.com via the Jetpack plugin and transferred my followers using the subscription migration tool.

    My website does show up in the list of “sites” when searched for by name within the Reader, however the posts themselves do not. When my feed is viewed (https://wordpress.com/read/feeds/108268631), it states that there are “No recent posts”. I have posted several times since the site migration.

    I’ve assumed that something may have been missed and that this issue can be rectified, because when I view the feeds of the self-hosted sites I follow through the WordPress.com Reader, their recent posts do show up. What do I need to do to fix this?

    I have started a new full sync for the site.

    This can take up to 24 hours to complete, so please let us know how it goes after that. :)

    Hi again,

    My Reader feed (https://wordpress.com/read/feeds/108268631), still states “No recent posts. This site has not posted anything recently”.

    Interestingly, my posts do come up when I view the feed on the WordPress app on my Android phone, but they still appear to be missing when viewed through the web browser…

    After a closer look, it seems that when you migrated you were still on the “temporary URL” that your host provides (http://box5925.temp.domains/~ebeccaal/feed) and had not switched the site to the final address.

    Because of this we were looking in the wrong place for your posts, but I have updated your feed URL in our system to https://rebeccaalasdair.com/ and now I see posts when I visit https://wordpress.com/read/feeds/108268631

    Do you see the same if you visit the Reader page on your end?
