Posts Not Showing Up in WordPress Reader

My website is hosted through Bluehost, and I’ve connected it to WordPress through Jetpack. When I had free WordPress blogs, my posts would always show up in the Reader. Now however, they are not showing up under the relevant tags. For example, I published a blog post about Japan today and it is not showing up when I search the Reader for the tags ‘Japan’ or ‘Kyoto’ – which I have tagged the post with. How do I get my posts to show up on the Reader? It would be a good way for me to generate views and followers. Thank you!

Hi there!
I would be happy to clarify this for you.
For blogs hosted on WordPress.com, your posts will appear in tag searches by default.
But for WordPress.org sites connected to WordPress.com using Jetpack, the posts will only appear on Tag pages if you have a paid Jetpack plan.
If you don’t have a Jetpack plan, your posts will not be displayed on Tag pages in the Reader.

I’m so glad you asked this question lilkwok as the same is happening to me. It appears is that are using a self hosted platform have to pay for this additional benefit… 🤔
