Posts not showing up on Facebook?

  Hello guys,

  I’ve connected my wordpress account with my facebook account.The articles didn’t really show up on my facebook profile or news feed.There was one article that showed up yesterday,but I posted another one a few hours later and it never showed.I wonder if you guys had the same problem and what the solution is?

  I don’t have a solution but wanted to say I’m having the same problem. My posts were showing up fine at my facebook page last year, but something has apparently changed and now the link doesn’t seem to be working. Anyone have an answer?

  What precise method were you using to connect your WP.com blog and your Facebook account? Some of them can be glitchy. There’s Publicize, the WordPress app, Networked Blogs (which I use and which works well on all my blogs except the main one, where it doesn’t work at all) and Notes, to list just a few.

  I used Publicize. I did that in the wordpress control panel.

  Hmm, that’s peculiar. It’s a longshot, but can you go to http://pingomatic.com and put in your blog and have it ping all the normal services? Then it might show up on Facebook.

  i’ve done some research on this issue and it seems that a lot of people are having trouble with Publicizing on FB.

  Please try reconnecting Publicize following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#reconnecting-facebook

  Keep in mind that only newly published posts will be Publicized. Reconnecting Publicize will not Publicize already-published posts.

  hmm i tried what you suggested Mac and just to test it out i posted a new entry.it hasnt showed up on FB yet,but i appreciate your help!

  Hi raincoaster, I used the Publicize button, and now I just posted to my blog, went and checked Facebook and it was there! In fact all my posts were showing whereas nothing was happening before. I don’t know what happened between today and yesterday! Thanks macmanx for those instructions–just in case the connection goes south again, I’ll be able to fix it.
