It looks like there hasn’t been activity on michellebrutonphotography.wordpress.com in about a year. Is this the site where you are trying to publish a new post? If not, can you send a link to the one you need help with?

The site is brutonphotographyblog.com. I’ve had it for 11 yrs (someone else built it for me). Never really had issues with it until it got malware a few months back. I paid to have it “fixed” but since then, I’ve run into several problems. Thanks.

The new hosting site suggested trying to restore my domain folder from here: https://us.cloudlogin.co/filemanager/#/www
From a date when I remember that this post editor was working. I noticed in my dashboard under plugins, I have classic editor as active. Is that something I need to change? Thanks. -

It appears that your website uses the self-hosted version of WordPress rather than WordPress.com, which is what this forum is designed to help with. Note the difference here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
You may be able to find help here: https://wordpress.org/support/ or alternatively contact your hosting provider.
