Posts on front page

My home page has a you tube video which I created as my first post, I want to leave it that way. My problem is when I go to create a new post it overides my current homepage which has the featured you tube post I want. I have mucked around with all the widgets to get it right and I have even tried to set my home page as static but it won’t let you.
any advice anyone,
I’m happy to change themes as long as their is no cost. All I want is to have free theme that will alow me one video on the home page preferably from Utube.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

All blogs are designed so posts display on the front page in reverse chronological order with the most recent published post on top. If you wish you can make the post with the video a “sticky post” that always appears at the top of the front page. You can that by editing the post and making the sticky post designation in the publish box and then clicking update. http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/#sticky-posts
Do note that doing that means every time a return visitor clicks into your blog they will have to click past that post to locate the most recent content published on your blog and that is what returning visitors coming to read.
