Posts on more than one page (same post, different pages)
-
I would like to have posts appear on more than one page. For example, I write a travel blog. I am dividing my site by the 50 States, one page for each state. I would like to be able to post more than once on the Missouri page (since we will take more than one trip in Missouri), and then I’d like to have multiple posts on the Illinois page. Furthermore, I’d like the five most recent posts to appear on my home page.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello there.
If you would like multiple posts to appear under the same tab, you would use Categories, rather than Pages. Post do not appear on Pages. Only static content can be added/published on a Page.
However, if you created a Category for each State, you could assign each trip a Category (State), and when the reader clicked on the Missouri link, he would see all your posts about Missouri trips.
Here is some more information about the creation and usage of Categories:
Once you’ve created your Categories, you can create a Custom Menu that displays links to all the states you’ve visited:
I’d like the five most recent posts to appear on my home page.
- To adjust the amount of Posts on the front page:
- Click on Settings → Reading in your Dashboard.
- Adjust “Front page displays” to show “Your latest posts.”
- Change “Blog pages show at most” to “5.”
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and Save Changes.
Please let us know if you have any other questions. Safe travels and happy blogging!
