Posts on multiple pages

I have a wordpress blog inwhich I want to have members able to post questions, and another page where I want the administrator to post latest news. Can anyone suggest a way to do this?

Please post the URL for the blog you are referring to starting with http://

I would recommend looking in to the P2 theme and seeing if that fits your needs. If not, choose a theme and have a page for latest news and a featured e-mail address for readers to e-mail you their questions.

Yes, the P2 theme is an option. There are, of course, two versions of the theme. One for wordpress.com sofware and one for wordpress.org software.

Creating a static Page with a contact form on it for receipt of reader questions is also an alternative no matter which theme you use. However, the shortcode for the contact form will only work on wordpress.com blogs, and we have yet to be assured that this question by cocoonfx is actually referring to a worpress.com blog and not about a wordpress.org blog.

    wordpress.com reference > http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact-form/
(* Do not copy and paste the shortcode. You must type it in.)

@timethief Shouldn’t it be assumed he is talking about a WP.com, he is in their forum ;)

I don’t leave the matter open to speculation any more. I have been caught too many times typing out lengthy answers to questions only to find I was communicating with a wordpress.org blogger. Some days roughly 25 – 30% of the questions being posted on this forum are coming from wordpress.org bloggers. Then again every day we have the wordpress.org bloggers who are “undercover” … lol :D

I will be asking for a blog URL each and every time the username is not linked to any blog. I will also tail gate other volunteers who fail to ask for a URL and ask for it myself.
