I recently changed my website address from metrogovernance.wordpress.com to adurbanstrategist.wordpress.com but the only way my public content can be shown is if I link to the page instead. Help.

No I want to switch out of classic editor and it won’t let me. It seems that the post is all jumbled but when in edit mode, it seems fine.

Following up:
I am able to switch between the block and classic editor on that post. it looks like you have another version of that post opened up on a different device though. Try to find that and save the changes, it might be causing you problems.
I’d also suggest clearing your cache:
Write back to me if it is still not working and let me know what browser version and type you are using. Everything works as expected for me in Chrome.

Ok so I cleared the cache on my phone, tablet and laptop. I am using the Chrome browser for both. I am not 100 knowledgeable of HTML so if there was a way I could fix the problem, I would be able to do it.
Here is what is happening:
1. I get a pop up screen asking if I want to try blocks. I press cancel, and when I want to preview, it comes up blank.
2. When I accept blocks, there is a heading that says “classic at the top”. When I click preview, everything from “So it got me thinking about Hamilton”, downwards it is one large paragraph.”
3. When I am asked on my mobile phone (latest Android OS). it says it is unsupported and I don’t even see the post. -
As an addition, I tried it on Microsoft Edge. I cleared the cache prior to this and it is still happening.

@andred919 from what I’m seeing, it seems you’ve got a mix of blocks and classic editor html, as well as some unclosed blocks that could well be causing this issue.
With your permission we can try closing those blocks to see if that helps. Is it okay if we proceed to do that?

That seems to have done the trick. You had some unclosed / unopened “block” markup. I took out the rest of the block markup and it looks fine now.
Had you edited that by hand at all or was that only happening between your mobile and web editors?

I might have made changes on both my mobile and web editors? I know I’ve done it before and this never happened? Who knows?

Mixing the editors _may_ have done it, of course though it shouldn’t have and I’ll see if I can reproduce and report the issue.
Please let us know if it happens again!
