Posts on Pages
-
I was wondering how I can put specific posts directly on pages, without creating categories? Currently, I am using the Twenty Ten theme and I have categories under pages. When I click on the category though, it shows up as achieve. I wanted to know how I can put a post directly on a page and by-pass the categories…if possible.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That’s not possible.
Pages and posts http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/ are not the same.
Pages (static) https://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/ and category pages (dynamic) https://en.support.wordpress.com/category-pages/ are not the same.
Among the most common misconceptions is that bloggers fail to understand is
(1) there is only one page we can post to in any blog and
(2) the static pages http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/ they create do not automatically update.Only the dynamic pages like Categories, Tags and Archives created by the software when we publish a post we that we have assigned Categories and Tags to will update automatically update with new posts.
By default the front page of the blog is the post that displays all posts in your blog. Though there is only one dynamic page in a blog for posts (not pages) http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/ and we cannot post to more than that one page, we can create the appearance that we have posted to more than one page.
We organize posts by assigning categories to them. You can create a custom menu and add the dynamic categories pages into the custom menu.

There are many common errors, misunderstandings and misconceptions when creating custom menus and there are some tweaks you can use to improve your custom menu as well.

It’s not possible to add posts to pages. However, you can use categories to create a similar effect.

P.S. Know that unless or until you publish a post with a category assigned to it there will be no data that can display on a dynamic category page like this one https://mattdlugie.wordpress.com/category/audio/

@galois
Hi there.[off-topic] You will begin to notice that I’m switching over to explaining how to use tag search and how to tag threads for Staff help when I answer questions from here on in. That because I will be history by summer time. So be happy for me please because singing lifts my spirit like nothing else can and apparently mezzo-sopranos with my vocal range are desirable choir additions – yay! :)
