posts out of order

My posts started out in order, now they seem to have a mind of their own.
Every edit to a post puts the timeline out of whack.This is getting very frustrating. I came here because I’ve been told this is a good site with good software.
I’ve searched WordPress and Google. I’ve tried all the tricks listed such as verifying sticky’s are not turned on. I’ve altered the time stamp.
I’ve even tried Chrome, IE and Firefox.If this can’t be resolved, I’ll find another blog site. This is so frustrating.

We can’t tell you what’s wrong if we can’t see the blog. You can temporarily switch to the middle privacy option, if you wish, or you can wait for a staff reply.

No apologies please: you might have reasons not to make the blog accessible to us. It’s just that we volunteers can’t see a private blog while WP staff can.
But there’s nothing out of the ordinary on your blog. Your posts show in reverse chronological order, as expected. They have all been published the same day, so the order is based on the time you published them (10:30, 10:15, 10:00, 9:41, 9:31, 9:23 AM). To change the order, you can edit the posts and change their time or date stamp. Fast way: go to Posts > All Posts and click Quick Edit under the post title.

That’s what I was trying. After posting my first Jan 24, 28, Feb and so on. Things seemed to go sideways when I went back to edit some of the posts.
It was then that I found out that I could alter the time stamps as someone had suggested.Perhaps I just need to alter the time stamp and be more patient.
