POSTS: Page lay-out

    I recently up-graded to the most recent version of WordPress. I also changed the ‘theme’. The latter was required to allow compatibility with my host’s PHP. The change of theme occasioned a change of page layout. I am happy with the new layout on all pages except the ‘Posts’ page ( called News ) The previous layout was a ‘toilet roll’ style of headings with photos and supporting text. The new layout displays a ‘list’ of the headings which have to be ‘clicked’ to show the photos/text. I would like to revert to the previous view of the Posts page but, I am not sure how to do so. Any advice appreciated.
