Posts page “Load more posts” button invisible – theme twenty twenty-two

Hello, I’m using the theme twenty twenty-two but having a problem with my Posts page at https://thirdeve.com/posts/ . I’ve set the page up to show a featured post and a gallery for 15 additional posts (the recommended number).
There is supposed to be a “Load more posts” button (which option I clicked), but the button does not show on the published page. I can barely see it in my page editor at the end of the left-hand column. However I have no ability to edit or move that button, or change its appearance for better visibility.
Can someone help me edit and/or move the “Load more posts” button? I want it to be visible to readers. One contacted me last week about this issue and I’d like to fix it.

Hey there @thirdeve, I’ve seen some glitches with the Load More button on the Blog Posts Block — nothing we’ve been able to duplicate consistently (and therefore solve) but it’s a little tricky nonetheless.
Would you be willing to try the Query Loop block rather than the blog posts block to see whether that helps? It gives you quite a few more customization options as well:
Use the Query Loop block to display blog posts (or other content types such as pages, testimonials, or projects) anywhere on your site. This block is similar to the Blog Posts block, but with greater flexibility to display your content using many different parameters and visual layouts. This guide will show you how to use it. Can you try clearing your browser’s cache to see whether that resolves it?

Hi, and thank you for your response. I did use the query block, which looks good while building the Posts page, but now the page shows only the Featured Post. =( I’m sure it’s because I’m not understanding or implementing something properly, but I can’t edit or adjust typefaces or how the grid text appears. To be sure that we can see what you are seeing (when you edit the Query Loop) can you share a link to the page you are on when editing that? Is it this view? https://wordpress.com/page/thirdeve.com/73456

Hello again! Once I cleared my browsing history and started over again, I was able to use the outline view to tackle the Query loop block item by item. While I still haven’t achieved what I wanted to, I’m almost there. It looks like what you indicated above, which is progress! I’m going to reply/mark as resolved but will contact email support if further help is needed.
This was indeed the fix for the errant “load more posts” button in the Posts Block. Query loop is working much better, thanks so much!Anne @ thirdeve.com
