Posts, Pages and Categories.

  Hi everyone.
  I am a newbie in WordPress. I get confused between Posts, Pages, Categories etc…
  – Every time I create a new page, it appears on Main Menu in the Header. – When I create a new post, it does not appears in my selected Category.
  I would like to learn more about this issue, but I don’t know where I can find the materials.

  Right here: http://support.wordpress.com/

  Just use the search function and put in one item at a time. This will turn up
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/categories/
  and
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/
  and that should clarify things. PAGES cannot be categorized; only Posts can.
