posts per page

  In “settings>reading” I try to change the number of posts per page ( blog pages show at most box), but when coming back to the blog ( after saving changes), the posts displaying page displays all the posts, making the blog slower to load.

  Your theme actually has an infinite scroll feature, so new posts are loaded as the viewer scrolls down.

  This won’t actually affect load times, as the additional posts are not loaded until the viewer scrolls past the threshold.
