  I cannot find the setting to choose the number of posts per home page. All my posts are showing up–over 100! I have been blogging for three years. Do I perhaps have an old version of wordpress? Also there is no setting in reading or writing as other forums have suggested I use. Help.

  We are working to add a new feature called infinite scroll. In the new feature, 7 posts are loaded at first and once you have scrolled to the end of those, 7 more are loaded.

  You can turn the feature off by adding any widget to one of your footer widget areas on the Appearance → Widgets page and then unchecking the “Scroll Infinitely” option on the Settings → Reading page after that.
