Posts permanently in chronological order

    Three items of concern.
    1. How do I change the order of my posts to run chronologically for all viewers, all the time?
    2. How to have the entire posts (not just the titles and the first sentences), as I won’t want viewers to have to click to go back and find the next post
    3. Infinite scrolling along with the above two items.

    Hi there,

    1. How do I change the order of my posts to run chronologically for all viewers, all the time?

    That is not possible. The WordPress software is designed to show posts with the most recent first.

    You can add a query string to your posts page URL to make the posts show in chronological order, and add that as a custom link to your site menu. That way people can click on that link to see your posts with the oldest first. But on the front page/posts page it will always show most recent first.

    Your posts aren’t showing the full post because you have the more tag added to them. If you add the more tag to a post it overrides the theme excerpt settings, and will always show the Continue Reading link. Edit your posts and remove the more tag, and it will show the full posts instead.

    3. Infinite scrolling along with the above two items.

    Infinite scroll cannot be enabled on a site with footer widgets, and you have a Recent Posts widget in your site footer.

    Remove that widget, and you’ll have access to the Infinite Scroll settings at My Site ->Manage ->Settings ->Writing ->Theme enhancements.

    Thank you for your great answers to my questions. I am still thinking about the chronological tip. Have removed the tags on all my posts. Once done that, it looks like I don’t need the continuous scrolling. I’m happy!
