Hello,
You can delete a single post by going to your My Sites > Blog Posts and directly deleting the post you no longer want.
If you have multiple post you want to delete, you can do that from your Admin dashboard by going to the Posts page, selecting the post you want to delete, and using Bulk Actions to move them to the trash.
You can find the full explanations here

Still confused. When I google auntiedoesgenealogyblog I get five hits each with a different url. For example: Hexa theme<Quntie Does Genealogy Blog-wordpress.com-wordpress.com/theme/Hexa/auntiedoesgenealogyblog.wordpress.com.
I do get one htpps://auntiedoesgenealogyblog.wordpress.com which I assume is the actual public blog with its url. How do I get rid of these other five links which go to the practices I went through to get my final blog??????

When I tried to google your site from google.com I did not see it appear in my search results.
However, when I used the address/url bar to search, I got a dropdown bar that showed the links of your website that I tried to access.
The links that appeared in the dropdown went away after I deleted my browser history.
What you are seeing might be the results of your browser showing you your history when you type the site into the address/url bar. If you clear your history, or just delete the history of when you accessed the site, that may make the other five links go away.
Other than that, I’m not sure why the links would be appearing when you google your site.
