Posts Published via the new "Press This" not being published to Twitter

    I have published several posts via the update “Press This.” None are being sent to my Twitter feed.

    A scheduled post that posted earlier today was posted to the Twitter Feed. (This post was of course edited with the regular interface to update it posting schedule.)

    I have not posted directly via the more classic interface as of yet. That will be my next test.

    I am not sure when I update “Press This” but no posts since Sept 1 had been updated to Twitter.

    If you want me to run any tests, it can be done. If you need additional info on my environment, I can provide it.

    Windows 7 Professional
    Press This via Firefox 40.0.3
    Firefox with several privacy additions. (Newest addition being Privacy Badger from the EFF. WordPress is whitelisted for several of the add-ons.)

    Hi there,

    Our team received some other reports about this, and they are looking into it. For now, you can click the arrow next to the Publish button in the Press This window, and select “Standard Editor” there. That will open the draft post in the standard post editor, and when you publish it from there it will be publicized.

    Please let me know if you have any trouble with that workaround!

    Your team is looking into it? It has been sometime and this is still a problem.

    Do we at least have a time frame?

    Yes I could use “standard” editor. By which you mean the new editor, which STILL does NOT respect my settings vis a vie visual vs html.
