Posts Publishing Acces
-
Sorry for all the threads I was trying to keep different topics separately
After you publish a post where it says access public subscribers only or paid subscribers for public does that mean the general public like anybody on or off WordPress can view my posts and site? I wanna avoid recieving spam such as likes comments and interactions from people I don’t know. I think I also have the spam filter akismet enabled for my site. Does it automatically block spam
I think mine is currently set to public but wanna change it to subscribers only. But having to go back to every posts even older ones to change it manually will take forever
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Public means anyone on the internet can view your posts — they do not need a WordPress account.
Subscribers only / Paid subscribers means only logged-in users who follow or pay for your site can see those posts. The general public cannot.
If you want to avoid spam interactions:
- You can disable comments entirely (Settings → Discussion)
- Likes can’t be disabled per-user, but they don’t affect spam
- Akismet automatically filters most spam comments — you don’t need to manage that manually
You do not need to edit each post one by one.
You can change the default visibility for future posts in your site settings, and you can also use bulk actions to update multiple existing posts at once.
