Posts reformat automatically once published………..

I’m having trouble with the formatting of my posts.
First off, picture captions are never left justified; even if i put in an html code, when published, captions end up centered.
When saved as a draft or previewed, my posts look fine. When published, my paragraph formatting is off. giant spacing in between words (e.g. — three words on one line, the rest of the sentence on the next
e.g.
My post formatting is off but
I have no idea why it is doing that because when I save it as a draft it
looks fine but
when i publish it, it is a complete mess.Can someone help me solve the problem? I spend an hour ever time I want to post battling with the formatting.

The caption does not accept HTML, and the default for captions is centered.
On the post formatting issue, please provide a link to a post where this is happening. I’m not seeing any of this behavior in your posts.

Check out the paragraphs in the most recent post – there is spacing in the middle of sentences!

That first post is full of what are called binding spaces which keep two words from being broken.
If you open that post and switch to the HTML editor, between works you should see
& nbsp ; without the spaces I’ve included (have to put spaces in or it will not appear in the forum).
Did you by chance copy and paste that from somewhere such as on the web or from a word processing program?

I did a search and replace on that text, and if you want, switch to the HTML tab in that post, delete everything and then paste in what I have below.

One note. If you copy and paste from the web, use the “paste as plain text” icon on the lower editor toolbar (button #5 on the lower row: http://en.support.wordpress.com/visual-editor/#row-2 ). That will fix and strip out any code that is going to mess up your blog.
