posts scheduled in the app publish 5 hours later than assigned time

I use the android app to schedule many of my posts. My time zone is set to eastern standard time which is 5 hours behind UTC. When I schedule a post in the app, I set it for say 5 am ET; it shows as 5 am ET until the change uploads to your server. When I go back into that post at 5 am ET to find out why it didn’t publish, the publish time now reads 10 am ET. I didn’t set it for 10 am ET; I set it for 5 am ET. Why is it changing? I went through the WP Admin to try and get around this but the same thing happened. I finally went back in and changed the pub time to 5 hours in the past and it published, however, the post didn’t appear on my homepage (it’s set to show new posts at top) and it didn’t appear in the reader. I had to make several more attempts before it FINALLY published properly. What the hell is wrong with the app? This just started yesterday. I’ve not had this problem before that.

I just want to make this very clear MY TIMEZONE is set to EASTERN STANDARD TIME in the settings already. This is an APP issue NOT an issue with the app’s settings.
