Posts settings

I want to display the recent post complete but only summary of older posts should be displayed. That means we have to click on the older post to read it completely.
Is there any way o that???
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

In order to answer your questions, we need a link to your blog, starting with http, because the answers will depend on the blog.

– You can add the more tag to each post once it’s longer the latest one.
http://support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/
– Or you can set the number of posts per page to one, and add the Categories widget for accessing older posts. In the theme you’re using, category pages display post beginnings only. (Note that in these beginnings all html is stripped out, which means no live links, no images, no italics etc.)
– If you’re talking about an independent post summary (not the actual beginning of a post), you need the Excerpt function. But this only works in a handful of themes.
-
Or you can change themes. I’m not a theme expert, but there is one theme that does this…is it Hemingway?
-
I think no theme does exactly that. Hemingway main page: beginnings of two latest posts. Fadtastic main page: beginning of latest post plus titles of previous recent posts.
