Posts show as published in editor but can't be viewed

I had just published 5 posts in a row when my browser (MS Edge) crashed. When I reloaded, the posts don’t show up in the blog, nor in the site dashboard. If I reload the editor page, using the URL from my browser history, it loads fine and the editor page shows as Published, and Public. Here’s one as an example:

    https://flenbip.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=96&action=edit

Two other posts I made this morning show up ok, but nothing since then is visible. I’ve tried in Chrome and it looks the same there. Clearing my cache and cookies doesn’t help either. I don’t think I have any plugins enabled.

The posts are obviously on the site somewhere, since they show up in editor view, but I can’t view them any other way. What’s going on?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Yes, of course. I’ve tried that multiple times and it doesn’t appear to do anything. To reiterate I can pull the edit page up using the php url, and the content is there. But it can’t be reached from the blog itself. Something has happened to corrupt the database record so that even though the posts look published, they aren’t. They aren’t in drafts either. They are just in limbo. Click the links and try it for yourself.

    @ Luis:

I clicked “Update”, and noticed that it appears you’re editing this as a “feedback” message. Is that intentional, or are you trying to publish an actual post on your blog?

If you’re trying to publish a post, you should copy and paste the content to Posts -> Add New in your dashboard.

    https://flenbip.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post-new.php

Or you can use the new editor at:
    https://wordpress.com/post/

Ah thank you! That does indeed appear to be it. Clicking feedback shows my missing posts listed there, so I must have accidentally swapped to the feedback tab at some point.

In my defence, clicking Add New in feedback does display a dialog that is indistinguishable from the one that appears if I click Posts -> Add new post. In fact the feedback form actually says “Add New Post”. That seems like a UI bug to me. There is nothing to tell the user that this will go to feedback, not posts. Can this be filed as a bug report?

Yeah — that does seem strange, and I’ll have a closer look at this!
