Posts show in all categories, I want it in a specific category.

  I assigned my post a category from my list on the sidebar, that post appears in all the categories. What’s wrong?

  I have several categories on the right: Historic Spaces, Period Details, Design Conversations, Travel, Adventures with Bob and Doris, Modern
  Romantic. I have one published post, 5 Generations of Artistry… I assigned this article to Design Categories and when I look at my blog, under each category is Design Conversations (1) in blue. I thought the post would show up with the title under the category, Design Conversations. Did I set up the widgets incorrectly or is the problem in the post selection?

  It has one category, Design Conversations, and five tags: craftsmanship, design history, interior design.

  I don’t see a Categories widget on your blog, have you removed it? You can read more about how the widget works here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/categories-widget/

  If you’d like to give it another go and reinstate the widget, I’d be happy to have another look. Keep in mind that it would produce the most comprehensive results once you have at least one post in each category.
