posts showing in 2 columns on front page, I'd like one column. How do I do this?
-
The front page of the blog (theshadysideof45.wordpress.com) is showing my first 2 posts side-by-side and I’d like them to scroll one above the other so they are more easily readable and more visually appealing. I’ve changed the columns in the ‘show on page’ drop down tab and this doesn’t seem to work. I’m using the Visual theme. How do I do this? I’d like to avoid archiving each entry separately although this might be an acceptable option if I can’t change the columns…Any help is greatly appreciated as I am a novice!
Also, if I have to archive them separately is it possible to change the archive labels to reflect a single day vs the month which is what is currently showing?
Thanks!!

Visual displays posts in a 3-column “masonry” layout – check the demo:

There’s no option for changing this. If you want your posts in one column, you need a different theme. -
