Posts Slider

  I’m using the Oxygen theme. I’m trying to display a posts slider of 6 posts on my main page. I go to the posts I want featured and check the box that says stick this on the first page and select a featured image. However when I go to the main page the slider does not appear. i only see the posts in the thumbnail format. Can you help? thanks.

  Sure! Many themes that use a slider feature require a custom page template be selected, including Oxygen. There is a guide on how to set this up here:

  In short, you’ll need to create a Page, for example called “Home”, and select the “Showcase Page” template on the right side, then publish it.

  Next, go to Settings > Reading and select that page as your static Front Page.

  Once these steps are done your featured “sticky” items should show up properly. :)

  Thank you very much. It worked!
